Home, sweet home!
2008-02-02 Transferred! To a new location:
mmlacak.blogspot.com.
Photo gallery has been transferred also:
picasaweb.google.co.uk/mmlacak/Mmlacak.
New content will be published on new locations only, no updates are planned on this site any more.
This site will be up for some time, but by the end of a year it'll close, so update your bookmarks.
2007-12-22 No, I wasn't going to hibernate until spring, simply I didn't find enough
time to properly upkeep this little site of mine. So, here it goes, a dozen pictures added to the gallery. Also, I added
syntax highlight files for FreeBASIC, Pike and various editors.
2007-11-21 Updated article about
my dream little camera.
Plus, I changed a few, I must admit, pretty crappy pictures, for, hopefully, a better ones. I'll leave you to discover them

.
2007-11-08 Fuji F31fd review is here. Also, gallery is updated.
2007-10-12 I'm sorry, but I was quite busy lately.
That doesn't mean I wasn't shooting at all, but I had no time to, at very least, crop and upload images.
Yeah, as you already guessed, I'm fan of unprocessed images, save for those done in-camera.
2007-08-23 My sister, Kristina, was
here.
2007-08-15 Added a few pics of cameras I reviewed, from most of pages. You can also send a
comment via e-mail. Of course, expect a day or two before it appears on a related page. I'll also filter comments, so if you wish to see your
comments here, please don't spam, nor make just noise. Thank you!
2007-08-14 New review, about a
Sony DSC-F828 camera.
2007-08-07 Added quite a few photos. I have done quite a shooting recently, but didn't post, due to storage constraints.
It's solved now, so you can enjoy refreshed gallery.
2007-07-14 New review, about a
Sony Ericsson K800i, phone, camera and much more in one device.
2007-07-01 Slight update to article about Pike.
A
new, much improved version 2.0 of a pike-make.
Also, some
on-line docs for it.
2007-06-02 Put
a simple script soliciting MS IE users to switch over to FireFox,
before venturing any further, so they now know without reading history, that MS IE is badly broken, and doesn't work properly even with my simple gallery.
2007-05-28 A newly taken photo added to gallery.
2007-05-26 An article about
scripting language Pike, and
simple make replacement written in it.
2007-05-24 A newly taken photo added to gallery.
2007-04-20 A newly written ( and immediately abadoned! ) project
lua-make and a few pictures.
2007-04-03 An article about
scripting language Lua!
2007-02-24 Ads mostly affected, but also photo gallery. Added a few fine pictures to the gallery!
2007-02-22 Whole web site got a slight redesign. Plus a
new article!
2007-01-07 Whole web site got a heavy, and honestly, much needed redesign!
2006-12-31 The
Canon PowerShot G8 article has been updated, but also rest of the site.
2006-12-27 An article about
Canon PowerShot G8!
2006-12-26 A few ( should I say, seasonal ) photos added to gallery.
2006-11-27 Article about Canon A620 received well deserved face-lift.
A few pictures are added to photo gallery. It seems to take forever, but MS IE doesn't work, and most likely won't.
Ever. Sorry, but I have a better ways to spend my days than fighting windmills.
Please, consult Don Quixote for further assistance. Thank you.
2006-10-23 Photo gallery should be working with MS Internet Explorer, only with reduced
functionallity. This, of course, depends on a web browser to set up a proper 'User Agent' HTTP response field.
2006-10-18 In a futile attempt to find out what makes MS IE dizzy,
I went thru HTML validation on
W3C validator,
WDG validators
and
HTML Tidy, and CSS validation on
W3C CSS validator
and
WDG CSS validator. It seems that W3C doesn't respect its own standards too much,
I mean their validators didn't complain, while third-party did, WDG wasn't only one I used. And W3C "browser" ( Amaya ) also isn't respectfull,
i.e. doesn't support frames, and generally sucks big time.
2006-10-14 Photo gallery could be working with MS Internet Explorer, but I can't test it right now.
Opera seems to be working just fine, Konqueror too. And of course, now ubiquitous Firefox was here from day one.
2006-10-13 New images are added to the gallery, and some old are reindexed.
2006-10-12 Gallery is redesigned under the hood. It should now work with all browsers.
It doesn't! One thing I must acknowledge to Microsoft, they are very thorough in contempt of published
W3C standards.
